Pollak Theatre Rules
For the maximum enjoyment, security, safety, and all-round best experience for guests, staff and performers, the Pollak Theatre employs several rules and regulations to be observed during performances, outlined below. Guests are asked to read through them carefully and observe them closely during their visit.
Electronic Devices
Mobile phones and similar noise or light-emitting devices must be turned off or to silent mode and stowed away throughout the duration of the performance, as the lights from devices even on silent mode can be very distracting for performers and other members of the audience.
Camera Policy
Photography of any kind is generally similarly not allowed, though this may vary at the discretion of the management of each individual event. Please check with the venue for the exact details of your specific event prior to attending, if you wish to take photos.
Food And Drink
External food and drink is not permitted within the Pollak Theatre. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase within the theatre.
Prohibited Items
The following items may not be brought into the Pollak Theatre: animals (with the exception of prior permitted service animals), alcohol, balloons, balls and projectiles, external food or drink, lasers and light-making devices, professional cameras (with a detachable lens), selfie sticks, toy or replica guns, stuffed toys, or weapons of any kind.
Simply be respectful and mindful of the others around you and most importantly – enjoy the show!
